What we store in your browser

localStorage (essential): your guest save (thestrip:save), audio settings, and, when you use an online account, the Supabase session token that keeps you signed in. All of it is strictly necessary for the game to function; none of it is used for advertising or shared with third parties.

Analytics

We run no third-party analytics trackers. If that ever changes, this page will list them and non-essential ones will be opt-in.

Optional rewarded ads

The shop offers an optional "watch an ad" card that pays a small amount of in-game currency. It is strictly opt-in: no ad script is loaded and no ad-related cookie is set unless you press the button and accept the in-game note that appears before your first ad.

When you do, ads are served by Google (AdSense). We request non-personalized ads only; Google may still set cookies or use device identifiers for purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention, described in Google's privacy & terms.

Your acceptance is remembered in localStorage (thestrip:ads-ok). Clearing your browser's site data resets it, and declining the note simply means no ads: the rest of the game is unaffected.

Payments

Checkout happens on Stripe's own pages, where Stripe sets cookies needed to process the payment and prevent fraud, see Stripe's privacy policy for details.

Clearing

Clearing your browser's site data removes the guest save and signs you out. Online account progress is unaffected, it lives on the server.
